An elementary School Store for grades K – 5 was started in
November 2002. The store immediately became a big hit with
students and teachers alike. Among the supplies that were stocked
and sold included pencils, pens, erasers, crayons, glue sticks, paper,
notepads, postcards and rulers. EBT team members and volunteers
helped to order supplies and run the store. It has supported our
School-To-Work initiatives along with providing students an opportunity
to use real money, make change coupled with using good manners and
waiting their turn in a long line!
