Project # 3: Math & Art

Math is everywhere and is hided well in art! You will use your reading and art skills to follow directions that will make a geometric design for this project.

Ø Geometric Design: There are directions on how to make a geometric design using a compass. You need to follow the directions and a design should appear. You can only do the design on plain white paper!!! (No lined paper) You need a compass to complete this task! If you do not have one you can borrow one from me.

When you color your design, be sure to choose colors that compliment each other. Then you need to color your design to enhance a pattern that you should have made.

The design is due Wednesday, December 22^nd , NO late projects will be accepted since Christmas Vacation begins.

You will be graded on your final design, how well you followed directions and neatness and creativity.
