The Galway PTSA
offers students an opportunity to open their own savings account at an
interest rate of 3.92% through First Niagara Bank. Banking is available
to all students and teachers in the Elementary, Middle and High School.
Banking Day: Every
Tuesday from 1:45-3:00 in the Elementary Library (unless school is
closed or closes early)
Children in grades
K, 1 and 1/2 will have their banking picked up at their classrooms.
Children in grades 2-5 may come up during their recess to make deposits
or drop off their deposits in the office, where we will have a locked
banking box. Middle School
and High School students may drop off their banking in the office.
Volunteers are
needed to work one Tuesday a month for the banking program. You will be
provided with all training needed. As a volunteer you are also able to
open your own savings account for the great interest rate of 3.92%. If
you can help out or have any questions pertaining to the banking
program, please call our program coordinator
Deb Bogdan at
883-3501.
