I'm so excited to see the Galway web page!  I graduated from Galway in 1966, maiden name Anita Sherman.  While attending SUC at Oswego I met my husband of 30 years, Trace. I taught English for a few years, then went back to school and got a Masters of Library Science.  We then moved to Virginia Beach, VA. and absolutely love it; would never move back.  I've been an elementary school librarian for 14 years; my husband has been a 7th grade science teacher for 32 years!  We have one son who attends college in Maryland. We're looking forward to retirement in a few years and plan to RV around the country. I keep in touch with Bonnie Hathaway, Dorothy Cornell, and Laura Kaplanowski Email me if you'd like their addresses!  (Added Feb. 4, 2000)

Hi everyone greeting from Sunny California. Come Visit and say hi, our doors are always open to the Old Galway Bunch no matter when you were there or if your still there.  I would like to thank everyone for giving me good memories of life around Galway. I look back on my life and only see the good things that went on there when we were in school and think that one of our classmates had to go home and change her granny dress is unreal when I see what has happen since 66.  After GHS there was HVCC and then the Navy, I worked at the Watervliet Arsenal as Machinist, Toolmaker and joined the National Guard and became an Officer (that's right I said an OFFICER). Well I did have a short timers attitude and made a lot of my commanding Officer have fits and night mares.   I did make it 20 years and retired as a Captain in the California National Guard after a long career that started off in Schenectady.  I was a Company Commander of a unit in Glens Falls and Gloversville. Then because of my Marksmanship Abilities I became the Assistant Marksmanship Coordinator for the State of New York in Albany and ran the State Marksmanship Unit for a few years. I moved to California and worked as the Liaison Officer for the Chief of Staff to the General for the 40th Inf Division. I did all this part time because I still had a real job working for the Army when I was in NY and then the Navy when I moved to California. I am presently in good health after having a Stint put in my heart to repair my left artery that was 97% blocked. I still like to drink but I can't anymore well just a little and a good cigar still smells and tastes good especially if there Cuban. I still can dance and remember all the good times we had growing up at GHS. I think its time that we all get off our butts and make some inquiries to get this web page for the class of 1966 update with that happen and who is left. I will post the stuff if you email me the point of contact info.  I am happily married to a young Mexican well not that young but she did state the other night when we were dancing that when I graduated she was only 5, oh well Times have changed and we are both happy as I hope the class of 66 are too.  Tim (Know as the Wheel because everything revolves around the wheel)
