- Hi Ya'll !
The theme of my life has been "Change is a Good thing -
exciting too!" After graduation from Galway and HVCC,marriage,2 great
kids, divorce, raising those kids on my own and getting them set on their
way, I left New York for Virginia. I've been here 10 years (and never knew
Ed Paterak lives here too, until I attended the 96 Reunion!) The mild
climate here is much more to my liking then the long, cold, snowy winters
of N.Y. (UPDATE-moved back to Galway to help out with aging parents)
Being a mom was a challenge, but the kids turned out fine! (Sharon lives
in Minaville, NY, loves being a mom and working for the postal
service. Jason graduated from VCU here in Virginia and spent his 2nd
year in China working for an Architect Firm in Shuzhou. He is now
working in NYC for Wall Street firm. I've done sales and
customer service for a number of different companies ( remember-change is
my addiction!) From G.E. to Union Camp to Siemens. I bought myself a
Harley for my 45th birthday and that's my hobby. I have a very loving
relationship with a young man (how young you may ask?) who keeps me
thinking young and we recently bought a home and spend way too much time
on "house stuff". It's really cut into my free-wheeling riding
adventures. UPDATE-change! Back to New York) 1996's Reunion was a blast!
It was like being 16 again! See you in August!

- Hi: It's been a long time since I've heard from most of my classmates. I
hope you find this site and fill in your addresses.
After H.S. I went to college in St. Johnsbury, VT to study for the
Christian ministry. After that I joined the Army to be a Vietnamese
linguist and went to Vietnam in 1972 . I got married while in
language class in 1971. My first born, Dave Jr. was born while I was away.
After the Army my family and I went to Vermont to work for a Pastor in
Derby but I found I just wasn't cut out for the ministry (yet). We
(including a daughter now, Stephanie, 1974) moved to Portsmouth, NH where
I picked up a few odd jobs and went to the vocational-technical college.
After a few odd jobs I was hired by the Navy at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
I'm still with the yard as a pipefitter test director. I've been able to
travel all around the country for the Navy including San Diego, CA, Puget
Sound, WA, Norfolk, VA and Pearl City, HI, even Dunoon, Scotland.
My wife and I are still active in Christian ministry. We have been
active lay ministers in a couple churches, and have gone on 5 short
mission trips to Cuba, the Middle East including Egypt, Israel, Gaza, West
Bank and Jordan, and 3 trips to Haiti where we worked for a Christian
Orphanage and a school. I plan on taking at least one more trip but not
sure where yet.
Our kids live not too far from us. David just down the road in Wells,
ME where we now live and Stephanie in Barrington, NH. We have 4 grand
children so far. David gave us two boys and Steph a boy and girl. Being a
grand dad is one of the best things ever.
