Hi everyone!  I am currently living in Gainesville, FL and will graduate with my MS in geochemistry in August from the University of Florida.  In September I'm moving to Palo Alto, California to begin my PhD at Stanford University.  At Stanford, I'll be studying the geochemistry of modern and ancient coral reefs of several Pacific islands in order to better understand ocean circulation, climate change and El Nino.  I'll also be working in Patagonia in Tierra del Fuego, studying lake sediments to better understand climate change.  I'm having a blast with my research, and would love to hear from people!  I hope everyone is doing well!

I studied architecture at RPI and graduated in 2002.  I was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Marines and spent some time in Quantico, Virginia and then moved out to Encinitas, California in 2003.  The sun and surf of SoCal is truly amazing.  I’m now on my second deployment to Iraq.  My four year commitment with the Marines will be over this summer and I plan to move to Denver to work with Americorps and Habitat for Humanity as a carpenter.  Send an email and let me know how you are.

I'm graduating number one in my major with a current 3.8 GPA and I'm going to transfer to a four year college to get my bachelors degree in criminal justice and possibly go for my doctorate, I'm not sure of that quite yet.
