Remote Learning for Thursday, January 7, 2021

January 6, 2021

Good Evening Galway Families,

This evening we learned that an individual has tested positive for COVID. The last time this individual was on our campus was December 31, 2020.  Although there has been no student exposure, there has been staff exposure in our main campus building and at the bus garage.

Our district will pivot to remote learning on Thursday, January 7, 2021 to conduct contact tracing with the guidance of the Saratoga County Department of Health. All students Pre-K through 12 will learn remotely tomorrow. Once the contact tracing is complete, we will send an email indicating when in-person learning will resume.

In addition, we learned earlier today that two individuals, one at Joseph Henry Elementary School and one at the Junior/Senior High School, have tested positive for COVID. These individuals have not been on our campus since December 14, 2020, therefore no contact tracing is required.  We continue to work with the Saratoga County Department of Health to understand current trends that are impacting our county.

As always, our district remains vigilant and is committed to our student and staff safety.

Thank you for your continued support and flexibility.

Stay safe,
