WHO ARE WE?

The Galway PTSA is an organization comprised of parents, teachers, students and community members all working towards the common goal of enhancing and enriching the lives of all the children in our community. 

WHAT DO WE DO?

We work with school administration and faculty to provide enrichment, volunteer and monetary support for students in grades K-12. Below are some of the events, programs and goals of the Galway PTSA: 

Jr./Sr. High School

We organize and/or provide monetary support for the following…..

• Graduation and Academic awards given away to graduating seniors
• After Prom Party
• Jr/Sr High School Picnic
• New events to come

Elementary School

We organize and/or provide monetary support for the following…..

• Scholastic Book Fairs
• Elementary Picnic
• Holiday Gift Shop
• Family Fun Nights
• Science Fair awards
• Kindergarten Screening (we also provide each incoming K student a new Scholastic book)
• Virtual events

Other areas of Support….

• Spirit Wear – We offer a line of clothing featuring the school name and logo in an effort to promote school spirit. Please visit the Spirit Wear link for more information.
• School wide pictures – offering parents an opportunity to purchase portrait packages at a reduced rate.
• We have provided miscellaneous funding to many departments within the school
• PTSA Dance Program

HOW DO WE DO ALL OF THIS???

• We raise funds through our annual fall and spring fundraisers and school pictures. These funds are used for our yearly events, programs and Senior Awards.  These funds are dedicated to providing enrichment programs for K-12 students. Please see our Fundraising page for more information.
• We need the talents and time of many volunteers! Volunteering does not mean that you are committed to helping every week or even every month. If you could just volunteer a couple of hours each school year – you would make a huge difference. The more volunteers – the more we can do for our children!  "Many hands make light work!”
