We are incredibly proud of Joseph Henry Elementary’s two Odyssey of the Mind teams who competed at the New York State Finals this past Saturday!

Our Vehicle team earned an impressive 9th place finish, with a head judge being amazed at what this talented group—made up mostly of second graders—was able to accomplish.

Our Structure team placed 11th, an outstanding achievement for students competing in Odyssey of the Mind for the very first time - especially in a very challenging technical problem where they excelled.

Congratulations to both teams for a season filled with teamwork, creativity, and dedication.  Thank you to the amazing coaches for volunteering their time and for guiding their teams.   Thank you to Mr. Miller for being at the tournament to support our teams and to Galway CSD for their dedication to providing the OM experience for district students.  Way to soar, Golden Eagles!
