Galway Central School District residents are invited to attend an information session on electric buses on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 4-8pm. Representatives from the BYD bus company, Gorman Enterprises, NYSERDA, and National Grid will present updated information on electric buses during the regular Board of Education meeting and will be on hand to answer questions from the community.

A RIDE Achiever electric bus will be parked at the Junior/Senior High School entrance for community members to tour. This bus is similar to the one on the purchase proposition for your approval in May.

4-6 p.m. - Community members may tour the electric bus and talk with BYD & Gorman representatives

6 p.m. - Regular Board of Education meeting will begin in the High School Library

6:15-7 p.m. - Presentation on electric buses from BYD, Gorman, NYSERDA, and National Grid with a question and answer period

7-8 p.m. - A second opportunity for community members to tour the electric bus and talk with BYD & Gorman representatives
