Galway residents are invited to attend an information session on electric buses on April 23, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. including a presentation during that evening’s regular Board of Education Meeting. Representatives from the BYD bus company and NYSERDA will be on hand to answer questions. 

4-6 p.m. - An electric bus like the one voters will see included on the upcoming Bus Proposition will be parked at the Junior/Senior High School entrance for community members to check out. 

6 p.m. - Regular Board of Education meeting will begin in the High School Library

6:15-7 p.m. - Presentation on Electric Buses during the BOE meeting

7-8 p.m. - Community members may tour the electric bus and talk with BYD representatives
