Congratulations to Kara Ferguson, whose works were selected for this year's Talent Unlimited Literary Arts Journal. This year’s theme was Whispers of the Past, and a recognition ceremony was held on May 12, 2026 honoring 65 students from 16 school districts. Kara was one of the very few chosen with more than one piece!

Talent Unlimited is an annual literary arts journal featuring outstanding poems, essays, photographs, paintings, drawings, and graphic designs created by students in grades 7-12. The Journal's content is selected by a jury of professional artists and writers. A journal is published and presented to the contributing students at a reception. While the journal must be limited in the number of pieces represented, many of the entries are complimented by the judges for their creativity.
