ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

Tuesday is a chance to refuel your energy and renew your enthusiasm, EAGLE NATION!!!!  Remember, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.  Make sure you are getting enough Vitamin C and always washing your hands, as the flu is already around this season.  There is a lot of action tonight.  The Cross Country teams travel to Schoharie.  The Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer teams play a double-header at Mayfield, starting with the Girls at 5:00 p.m., while the JV and Varsity Volleyball teams host Johnstown tonight in their Pink Out Game.

GOOD LUCK to Andy Miller Today, as he competes in Sectionals at The Fairways of Halfmoon.

HIGHLIGHTS

Volleyball Highlights

Congratulations to the Modified 7th-grade volleyball team for defeating Fort Plain last night in 2 sets with scores of 25-22 and 25-17. Scarlet Hall led the team with 17 service points, while Molly Borst had a kill, and the team contributed several aces.
The 8th-grade team fought hard but couldn’t pull off the win in 3 sets.  Lily Chevalier had 5 aces and 5 assists, Grace Brisk chipped in 4 aces, and Paige Walcott had 4 kills.
The modified teams are hosting their Pink Out game on Wednesday at 4:30 pm. Come support the team, and don’t forget to wear your pink!

Boys Soccer Highlights

The modified boys' soccer team hosted Northville last night and came away with a 1-0 win. C.J. Anderson took the ball down on the edge of the end line in the third quarter,   where he passed the ball through the goalkeeper to assist a goal by Kent McCort, delivering it to the back of the net. The boys' team improves to 7-1-1 on the season. They travel to Middleburgh on Friday for their next game.

Marleigh has been a steady force in the midfield, logging big minutes and a lot of miles. She works hard every day and never complains. She sets a great example on our team with her effort, attitude, and consistency. Great job, Marleigh!
