ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS
Happy Wednesday, EAGLE NATION! Every day is a chance to begin again. Don't focus on the failures of yesterday; start today with positive thoughts and expectations. It's Wacky Wednesday for Spirit Week here at the Eagles Nest. On a bright note, Mr. Kirvin dressed up for today. He is wearing his Duke gear, which is perfect for Wacky Wednesday. I don't know what gets more whackier than that. We didn't have any athletic action last night, but the Elementary Winter Concert took place last night. Great job to all involved (teachers, staff, parents, & students), as it was a wonderful show. Again wanted to give a shout-out to the awesome halftime show on Monday night by our Cheerleaders and Elementary students who participated in the dance routine that they learned during the cheer clinic on Sunday. Great Job, Coaches and everyone! We are approaching the new moon phase, and the shortest day of the year is fast approaching.
Old Man Winter has brought us a little warmth and possible rain, and 50 degrees on Friday! Let's hope.
When fully grown, one apple tree will produce enough apples to make about 225 apple pies each year.
Remember, keep it classy, Eagle Nation!
