Fill your Thursday with gratitude, positivity, and determination. You have the power to make today amazing, EAGLE NATION! There was a lot of excitement on the hardwood last night, so check out the highlights below. Reminder that there is no school for grades 7-12 tomorrow. Enjoy your 3-day weekend, and a possible 4-day weekend with all the snow in the forecast for the weekend.  We are only three weeks away from the end of the Winter Sports Season.  It'll be over before we know it, so make sure you get out to support us.

  • Don't forget we have a lot going on currently at Eagle Nation.  We have raffle tickets (only 5 dollars) for a Syracuse vs. North Carolina Basketball game for sale for a truly great cause.  Please let me know if you want to buy some tickets.

Congratulations to Wrestler Andrew Grupe, who picked up his 100th Career Victory at the Ichabod Crane Tournament over the weekend.  Way to go, Andrew!!! KEEP IT GOING!

We are awaiting Swishin' Schwab to get a second opinion.  We have a doctor's appointment lined up for Friday evening to see what this one says.  Fingers crossed she gets cleared in time to play.

  • Who was yesterdays newest member?????????

    • Did you guess: Jenna The Jet Forsey

      • The Jet got her nickname on the Basketball court with her lightning quickness.  She loves to break and push the ball down the court and play a fast tempo.

Our next member of the Teachers Squad is a shooting guard that comes in at 5'6."  She was a High School Field Hockey star at Mr. Miller's favorite school.  She teaches grades 3-5 and is an elementary favorite.  She loves comedies and 70s Classic Rock.  She also has four chickens.  Who knows our next member??? Tune in tomorrow to find out.  We are working hard to fill out our roster and sign more talent before the game.

Teachers vs. DJ's Roster to date:
  • Jenna The Jet Forsey
  • Ross the Rim Ripper Hayden
  • Alley-Ooping Adams
  • Crossover Canell

Old Man Winter surprised us with unexpected snow yesterday evening.  Be prepared for the weekend, as Arctic Cold moves in, and we will be in the double-digit negatives, followed by large amounts of snow Sunday and Monday, so get those shovels and snowblowers ready.  Fingers crossed that Superintendent Miller grants us a snow day on Monday.  Think Spring!

Cows have individual personalities like humans; every cow is unique and possesses different personality traits. Common personality traits studied in cows are boldness, exploration, and sociability. Some cows may be risk-takers, curious about exploring their environment, and highly sociable, whereas others may be less brave, more shy.

Remember, keep it classy, Eagle Nation!

Randall Syracuse Ticket Raffle
Eagle Nation, we are looking for your help!!!!  Tragedy struck an athlete's family in our league, and we are helping the Canajoharie Booster Club sell raffle tickets to a Syracuse Men's Basketball game through our Booster Club.
One of the Canajoharie players, Senior Dillan Randall, tragically lost his step-mother, Braylynn Fahy, in a car accident on December 1st.  Dillan is the same player whose father was killed last January in a tragic accident while repairing his mailbox.  Dillan and his two younger brothers, who attend Fort Plain, have suffered unimaginable loss in less than a year, losing both their father and mother/stepmother.  To show our support, we are joining forces to raffle off four tickets and a parking pass to the Syracuse versus North Carolina men's basketball game on February 21st (flyer attached) that were graciously donated by Empower Federal Credit Union! Tickets are $5 each and will be available for purchase at all home games or by reaching out to Coach Glenn (mglenn@galwaycsd.org).   The winner will be drawn on February 13th at halftime of the Galway Varsity Boys at the Canajoharie Basketball Game.  The winner does not need to be present to claim the tickets!  All proceeds from the raffle will be donated directly to the family.
