ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

TGIF, EAGLE NATION!  We wish a beautiful and inspiring Friday. It is brutally cold out there today.  Make sure you are dressed properly to avoid frostbite.  We turn the page to February this weekend.  The days are getting longer as we are getting closer to warmer weather.  Last night was a great Senior Night for the Wrestling team.  Make sure to check out the highlights below.  It is also Groundhog Day on Monday.  Fingers-crossed, he doesn't see his shadow, and Spring is here soon.

HIGHLIGHTS

Wrestling Highlights

The Varsity Wrestling team wrapped up their regular season last night, defeating Scotia-Glenville to hold on to the Scocca Cup.  All three Seniors on the team, Andrew Grupe, Kai Denisulk, and Max Sicard, all picked up wins on their Senior Night. Nate Mele and Kolt Wojtowecz also picked up a win for the Eagles.  Up next for Wrestling is Sectionals on 2/7.

  • The Modified Wrestling team wrapped up their season last night in a matchup against Scotia-Glenville. Callan Stead and Guy Birkmayer won by decision, while Cameron Dixon won by 30-second pin. The team had four wrestlers finish with a positive record on the season:
    • Callan Stead 12-2
    • Dominic Sartin 9-1
    • Guy Birkmayer 9-3
    • Cameron Dixon 13-2
Congratulations to all wrestlers on their growth throughout this season.

Cows seek pleasure and love to play.  Cows gallop, buck, play-fight, frolic, and chase after balls. You may have even seen videos of cows running, prancing, and jumping when outside. Playing together helps cows learn many of the social skills they need to interact with one another. So, the next time you see cows grazing in a field, remember that there’s more to these animals than meets the eye. They’re intelligent, social, and complex animals deserving of our care and respect.
