ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS
We've officially turned the calendar to May, Eagle Nation! It's also May Day and Derby weekend. May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day, is a holiday celebrating workers and the history of labour organizing every year on May 1st. It is also the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby tomorrow. Who do you have picked to win?
There was a lot of excitement on the diamond and track last night, so make sure you check out the scores and highlights. We have a home softball game today.
The school year will be over before we know it, as we only have 29 class days left in high school, so make sure you stay on top of everything, so you pass all your classes and don't have to attend summer school.
Spring Sports will be over in the blink of an eye, with only a few games/meets left, so get out to catch some games and meets before it's too late. Varsity and JV sports regular season wrap up around the 16th, with modified teams finishing the following week.
As we get into the final stretch of the school year, remember there are many events, so keep tuned in, as there are a lot of moving parts.
