It's Monday time to motivate and make dreams and goals happen; let's go, EAGLE NATION! Come out to support the Varsity Volleyball team Wednesday night as they play in the Sectional Semifinals against Spa Catholic at Broadalbin-Perth. Also, encourage the cross country team to run hard as they have Sectionals on Saturday.
Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball Team as they won their Sectional Quarterfinals match Friday and now advance to the Section 2 Class C Semifinals, where they'll take on Spa Catholic ar 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Broadalbin-Perth High School. Tickets are required for entrance; please see the link below!!

Volleyball Highlights
The Varsity Volleyball team hosted Greenville in the Section 2 Class C quarterfinals and swept the Spartans, 25-11, 25-18, 25-9, to advance to the Section 2 Class C Semifinals Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at Broadalbin-Perth to take on Saratoga Catholic. Courtney Smith led the Eagles with 10 kills; Kiera Allen added 8 kills; Emma Menge had 6 kills; and Samantha Becker had 3 kills. Amelia Leclerc had 17 service points, while Kenzie Gardinier dished out 20 assists. Galway is now 15-1 overall.

Cross Country Highlights
8 members of the Varsity XC team participated in Amsterdam's Harvest Invitational at Bob's Trees on Saturday. Ailey Nelson earned a medal for her 23rd finish. Amelia Jordan placed 45th, and Annika Muller ran her second race in a row faster. The Varsity boys earned a trophy for 3rd place out of 14 teams. Nathanial McDevitt was the first Galway boy across the line, finishing 7th. Gabe Mele came in 24th, followed by Grayson Eagan in 25th, Brayden Sheft in 27th, and Evan Morris in 32nd. Some other team members were helping with an Eagle Scout project on Saturday but will be training all week to run Sectionals on Saturday. Tell them to run fast!
