The first Academic Stakeholders Committee meeting of the 2023-24 school year will be held Monday October 23, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the High School Library. The mission of the Academic Stakeholders Committee is to improve educational opportunities and strengthen the relationship between the school and community as informed advisors to the Board of Education.
We invite Galway families and community members to be part of this important committee! Members should believe in, value, and be committed to:

• Collaboration with all stakeholders
• High expectations for all
• Continuous improvement using evidence
Our initial meeting will include a presentation of the proposed Capital Project and the opportunities it will create for all students PreK-12. We will review the NYS Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education Framework and start to discuss the strategic planning process for the district's mission, vision, and goals for 2024-28.
The commitment for the Academic Stakeholders Committee is four meetings per year on the following dates:
